Clean Team – April 26, 2025

Volunteers braved the rainy forecast on Saturday morning to join the East 80s/Yorkville Alliance for a street clean-up. The Clean Team assembled to remove litter from the sidewalks and tree pits on East 86th Street. The volunteers are members of the community who come together to improve and beautify the East 86th Street corridor.

State Assembly Member Alex Bores rolled up his sleeves to pitch in, as did City Council hopefuls Vanessa Aaronson, Faith Bondi and Virginia Maloney. We were delighted to welcome new Clean Team members from our neighborhood Valley Bank branch. A team from Ace Cleaners and our partners at Carnegie Hill Neighbors joined the effort. After all the hard work was finished, Chick-Fil-A donated boxed lunches for all volunteers. Interested in joining us next time? Join our mailing list here.
